Events for Counselors Only

These events are designed specifically to meet the needs of counselors:

Counselor Colloquium: Each June, we bring about 200 Texas high school counselors to UT for a free, three-day stay on campus to discuss what's new with our admissions process, what the UT campus has to offer students, and other major issues and ideas about college admissions. We send invitations to each Texas high school in the spring asking interested counselors to let us know they're coming.

Counselor Updates: In August and September, we join together with Texas A&M University to bring you "Texas Together: Counselor Updates" in many areas across the state. Representatives from both universities keep you and your colleagues up to speed on changes, developments, policies, and procedures that will affect you and your students for the rest of the school year. Invitations are mailed to each high school in July asking you to register online for the program.
