Before You Apply

Getting a head start on thinking about and planning for college can help you to be successful in reaching your college goals.

Some of the information presented here will help anyone preparing to apply for admission – even if you’re not going to apply for years. Some information, on the other hand, is directed toward students at specific stages of their educational careers.

All of the information, however, is designed to help you get ready to apply to college when the time is right.

Starting in 2010-2011, some schools in Texas offer an option with UT Austin for a program called Early Readiness High School Graduation. Please review the online information and speak with your parents and your high school counselor if you think this option might work for you.
