Find out more about life on the UT Austin campus! You and your parents are invited to learn more about The University of Texas at Austin by attending one of four Longhorn Saturdays.
Meet
During Longhorn Saturdays in Austin, you'll enjoy the opportunity to meet and talk with university faculty, staff and students who can answer your questions about:
- gaining admission to UT Austin
- finding a place to live
- paying for college
- making college life a success in the academic programs that interest you
Discuss
Each Longhorn Saturday will feature sessions on all eleven UT Austin schools and colleges; representatives from financial aid, housing, and a variety of student services will also be on hand to discuss their programs. The day's events include:
- Student services marketplace
- Welcome session
- Admissions discussion
- Housing and financial aid information sessions
- Academic interest sessions
- Student panel with audience question and answer session
Typically, Longhorn Saturdays begin at 8 a.m. and end at approximately 12:30 p.m. After the program, please feel free to use the afternoon to tour the campus and explore the Austin area. There are many fine restaurants within walking distance of campus.
Space at each Longhorn Saturday is limited, so reservations are required and will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration will open two months before each event.
