The University of Texas at Austin

The University of Texas at Austin's El Paso Admissions Center serves prospective students, families, and high schol counselors in El Paso and the surrounding areas.

What We Offer

The El Paso Admissions Center offers the following services:

Should I meet with someone?

Admissions staff are available to answer questions about the application and enrollment process, but meeting with someone from Admissions won't impact your admission decision. Interviews are not part of the university's general admissions process.

Information Sessions

Whether you're a high-school student exploring your options or a current college student interested in transferring to UT Austin, we offer information sessions to help you. Space at each session is limited, so advance registration is required.

Are you a Texas Ex living in El Paso?

We need your help sharing your UT Austin experience with prospective and admitted students from El Paso. There are many ways to get involved with our recruitment efforts, but the first step is to sign up with Exes for Texas—a program in the Office of Admissions that connects Texas Exes with prospective and admitted students. Once we know how to contact you and learn about the ways you’d like to get involved with our recruitment activities, we’ll be happy to call on you during the year.

Location & Hours

The El Paso Admissions Center is located 10801 Gateway Boulevard West in El Paso. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (with the exception of university holidays).
