Application Fee Waiver
Fee waivers are granted on the basis of financial need. The documentation that should be submitted with a fee waiver request varies depending on the type of applicant:
- Freshman applicants (including international applicants who qualify for Texas residency): Submit either a copy of the waiver you received from SAT, ACT or the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) or a letter from your high school counselor or principal explaining the financial circumstances that make you eligible for a fee waiver. (International applicants who do not qualify for Texas residency are not eligible for an application fee waiver.)
- Transfer, reentry or transient applicants: Submit a copy of your financial award letter or a copy of your most recent income tax return.
- Graduate applicants: Fee waiver information for graduate applicants.
