Requirements and restrictions for the College of Liberal Arts

Most Plan II Honors Program students are admitted as entering freshmen. A limited number of students who begin their studies in other majors at UT Austin are admitted to Plan II through a rigorous internal transfer process. Undergraduate transfer applicants to UT Austin with an interest in the Plan II Honors Program should contact the Plan II Office after being admitted to the university.
