Academics, opportunities and resources in the School of Architecture
The School of Architecture offers a small-college atmosphere for entering undergraduate students interested in studying architecture or interior design. Architecture students spend time sharpening their design skills under the guidance of professors who are renowned architects and designers themselves. Our architecture students also gain practical skills and become professionally accredited – all while learning how to build environments.
Opportunities to Learn More
- The Summer Academy in Architecture is a five-week, introductory course in architecture that gives people 16 or older design experience, insight into majoring in architecture and the profession, and preparation for applying to a program.
- The School of Architecture also offers prospective students the opportunity to visit campus to learn more about the undergraduate program during Longhorn Saturdays and at other times during the academic year.
