The annual flat rate tuition cost varies by college and school for full time students; the rate is at the low end for the College of Liberal Arts and at the high end for the McCombs School of Business. Individual charges vary from student to student. Tuition and fees are based on 12 or more hours per semester. (Pre-pharmacy students pay tuition and fees for the College of Natural Sciences.)

The Office of Student Financial Services develops annual estimates for use in making financial aid decisions. The estimates offered here reflect expected costs for students who enter the university after the Spring of 2009. The estimates include tuition and fees (which vary based on college/department), books (approximately $860 per year), room and board including some costs beyond campus housing (see housing information above), transportation and personal/miscellaneous expenses.
