Sorority and fraternity life at The University of Texas at Austin includes more than 5,200 students and more than 60 chapters.

  • Members of the university’s sorority and fraternity community share values of leadership development, academic excellence, service and philanthropy, and community building.
  • The chapters on campus are divided into six governing Councils.
  • Sororities and fraternities as well as individual members who excel in academics, service, and leadership within the community can receive special recognition for their efforts.
